When I first started my boutique, just over two years ago, I had lots of ideas rattling around in my head. One was photography, because I love photography and capturing the perfect image. I had taken years of photography classes and I think I have a pretty good eye, but it scared me. The other big one was a boutique, it seemed less risky, so I went with it. Blogging was also at the back of my mind, since I was a Journalism major! So here we go...
My main purpose in starting a boutique was, and is, to bring quality clothing to women at an affordable price.
I love fashion, shopping, but most of all, a good deal! I shop for the perfect items and I shop the wholesale sales! I love to find specific pieces for customers! Every week I have at least one Flash Sale so I can pass even more savings on to you! And honestly, who doesn’t love a good sale!?!
While I love to wear the clothes I pick out for the boutique, I still shop at other stores, especially when they are having a good sale (Draper James and Lilly Pulitzer just had theirs!). My favorite sale is one that I rarely tell anyone about. I don’t know why, but I like to keep this one to myself. Today I am going to share with you my top secret favorite sale (you may already know about it, but I like to think it’s a secret).
I’ll give you a hint: It is the one and only brand of purse I carry! Not because there aren’t other great purses out there, but because I love the style, quality and simple elegance of these purses. I get compliments everywhere I go on my purses.
Yes, it is Kate Spade!! I have loved her purses since I was 19 (and that was a long time ago!). I still have every Kate Spade purse that I have ever purchased or have been given and I rotate them often.
